Old Stove Brewing Company is ready to open inside Pike Place Market. The brewery will hold its grand opening on Saturday at 11 a.m. with eight beers on tap: an IPA, wheat, pale ale, pilsner, saison, stout, double IPA, and a brown ale, with a session IPA and a Cascadian dark ale coming next week. At the opening party, the brewery will donate two dollars from every beer sold to the Pike Up! campaign, which is supporting the new Pike Place MarketFront expansion slated for 2017.
Old Stove’s taproom currently sits on First Avenue between Pike and Pine, with its production facility housed one floor below. That will all move next year when the MarketFront expansion opens. Old Stove will join Honest Biscuits, Indi Chocolate, and JarrBar in the new building.
